Tri Team Wigan achieve Clubmark
Congratulations to Tri Team Wigan who have successfully achieved Clubmark.
The club have been working towards the award for the past few months and have put a great deal of effort into gaining the prestigious club award. Clubmark is a recognition of the high standards the club have achieved in Child Protection, Coaching and Competition, Equity and Ethics and Health and Safety. Clubmark is yet another achievement for the club whose lead coach, Dave Green, recently took British Triathlon's Coach of the Year 2005 at the awards dinner in November.
North West RDO James Brown would like to congratulate the club, especially committee members Louise Linfoot and Fiona Russell for their hard work in putting together a superb file.
Need help with your new years resolutions? Team Tri Wigan would like to invite new members to their swim session which takes place at Hindley pool, nr Wigan 4-5pm on Saturdays. Sessions cost £2 for club members, or £2.50 for non-members. Family rates also available. Sessions are coached by British Triathlon L3, L2 and L1 coaches.
